The Bead and Opal Wool Queen presents Sockenwolle! Opal Sock and Sweater wool is produced in Germany, to a unique blend of 75% percent wool to 25% polyamid. One 100g ball (ca 425m) yields one very colourful pair of socks. Opal Wool is: Machine washable Non-felting Allergy tested Frequently and voluntarily tested by UFL German Environmental and Research Studies Healthy Clothing, Healthy Living, Healthy Environment Suggested needle size is 2.5mm or less, and a 10 x 10cm square has approximately 28 stitches, 36 rows. The Bead and Opal Wool Queen also has a range of patterns available, and Opal Wool is good for more than just socks - see the vest, pictured right.
