Walk In The Light

WALK
IN
THE
LIGHT

This book was written for those who are just starting out on their spiritual quest. It will hopefully tell them what to look for and how to know where they fit into the puzzle of life. For those who are already on their spiritual path it will give reassurance that they are heading in the right direction. This is not meant to be a manual of enlightenment. It is but one persons reflection on the reason for embracing a new spiritual belief system. It will answer some of your questions and also generate more questions which is always a good thing I believe. One cannot get anywhere if they stand still in the one place.

Walk in the Light.

Oh No, I hear you moan - not another book telling people how to become spiritual! Yet another person who believes they alone know all the answers - well, not quite.

This book is certainly about one person’s experience on awakening but it is also a story about how spirituality is as individual as each and every one of us. It must be something which each person explores themselves as nobody elses journey or awakening experience will be the same. It is about finding ones own personal and spiritual truth and this is certainly not going to be as easy as reading any book and automatically knowing the answers afterwards!

It is a long journey and one which never completely ends. Just as we think we’ve solved all the puzzles another mystery unveils itself for us to ponder over.

What this book does attempt to do is to de-mystify and de-ritualise the concept of spirituality. It tells how normal, everyday people can be as spiritual as the so called gurus. It talks about being true to oneself and to never take on the beliefs of others if they don’t sit right with your being.

It is a warts and all expose of guilt trips, family pressures and intrigue, self doubt and questions which never end. It is written in a warm and conversational manner in order that the reader will feel that they are listening to someone talk about their life, their spirituality and what they’ve personally learned, which may help others who are just beginning their journey.

It is not a bible. I am not a guru. I am living a spiritual life in a human body - as are millions of others on this planet. You don’t have to be special to be spiritual. Spirituality makes you special.

Read the words with an open mind and an open heart, that is all I ask.

1. Where did I come from and where am I going?
2. As normal as you (whatever normal is)
3. So many questions
4. Seeking self, sanctuary and sanity
5. Taking control of my own destiny
6. The buck stops with me
7. The light shines
8. Lessons I’ve learned
9. What does that mean?
10. Sending you on your way
