WHERE DID I COME FROM
AND WHERE AM I GOING?

I decided to write this book to share with others my own spiritual awakening. Maybe it will help you or someone you know on their spiritual journey. If nothing else, it may answer some of the questions in your own mind and help you to understand that there are thousands of people just like you who are questioning the meaning of their life and trying to put the puzzle of life together to come up with a bigger picture.

My husband moved about with his job and we had many house changes in the first 12 years of our marriage. I didn’t like changes but realised that my husband needed to do this to move up the corporate ladder and it proved to be beneficial to him and our life in latter years.

In 1998 I saw an advertisement in the local paper where a Reiki Master was running an Angel class and a Reiki I class among others. I didn’t really know much about Reiki but something told me to read up on it and to think about attending some of her classes. Originally I was going to enrol in the afternoon session to learn about Angels, Angelic healing and finding out about your Guardian Angel. For one reason or another I was not able to get to that class and I asked teacher about the Reiki I course she was also offering. What I heard again gave me that spark of interest and I decided then and there to take her Level One Reiki class. I had been interested for a couple of years in massage therapy, aromatherapy and the beauty of gemstones and crystals but they were only flippant interests in things which either felt good or smelt good to me. I also developed a significant attachment to the music which was played during my attunements and little did I know that in time that music would unlock more doors than I ever thought imaginable. So began my baby steps towards spiritual awakening.
